Rebecca Black Portland Concert reviews
not the best /// some advice :)
If you love Flyover, you might like rap festivals. I said might.
We only wanted to see Rebecca Black at the event. It wasn't bearable sitting through a few other artists. Go see the big artist at their own event-- even if you have to drive farther. It is absolutely worth it. To preface this, maybe even fun???
There was no scheduled lineup posted before the show, which was really inconvenient when we were planning our day. If you only want to see the big names, don't come until 10 pm at the earliest-- you'll still find a good place to stand. We got there at 7 o'clock (it started at 4:30) and still waited for almost 5 hours until finally at 11:45 Post came out. We could have had a nice dinner and spent more time in the city beforehand. I'm sure they do this on purpose so that people still come for the smaller artists, but STILL.
EAT BEFORE YOU GO. Dinner brings me to my next point. The only menu items in the whole amphitheater were hot dogs, brats, pretzels, peanuts, or nachos. I waited for 45 mins to get a hot dog and a drink. Toonnnnns of drinks tho.
Bring a blanket to sit on if you have lawn seats/wanna hang out in the lawn. Overall, our group experienced 5 hours of torture with about 1 that made it somewhat worth it haha. And like I said, if you like rap festivals/know more than 3 artists on the lineup then maybe you would like it. If not then DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF.
